THE BRIEF

Minimal downtime for a busy trade team.

When Les from Effect Home Builders called to update his team's headshots, he made it clear he didn't want a corporate assembly-line experience. He wanted everyone on his team to feel comfortable, and he didn't want the process to take away a lot of time from each team member's workday.

He wanted a fast yet stress-free experience that actually made the Effect team look like the professionals they are, especially given the customer-facing service their team provides for residential home building and net-zero renovations.

The solution was obvious: bring my portable headshot studio to their Edmonton office to make this project a breeze for all involved.

THE OBJECTIVE:

"Professional looking" — without the suit.

Nobody on the team at Effect Home Builders wears a suit to work. The majority of the team spends their days on-location using their hands, doing construction and trades-related tasks.

It was critical that the team looked professional, yet relatable. Like the kind of people you would trust to be left alone inside your house.

"He is the perfect mix of professional and fun, making the entire team feel at ease. The convenience of their mobile setup is a game-changer. Knowing they can replicate this exact look in-studio as we add new team members is a huge win for our brand consistency."
