Twenty years of pointing cameras at people
I've got a diploma in Film and Television, and have worked extensively in live event crews. I ran a video marketing agency and have a few thousand hours teaching other people to do work that gets their clients results. Through all of that time, there's one thing I've always wanted to specialize in - business headshots and portraits. I don't know why, I just love it and it's where I feel like I come alive the most.

If you're not growing, you're dying. I'm laser-focus obsessed with photography and light, and regularly take classes and workshops to better improve the visual products I create for my clients.
I'm a member in Peter Hurley's Headshot Crew as well as study lighting for photography under Lindsay Adler.

05 / THE MAN BEHIND THE CAMERA
The Personal:
I was born on the “tropical island” of Newfoundland, Canada in 1986. You wouldn’t know because my accent is well-hidden as a result of moving to Alberta when I was a teenager. I was forced to learn how to “slow down” so folks here could keep up. 😂
I first met the gal who’d become my wife way back in 2010, and we’ve been enjoying the adventure called life since. Oh, and we’re cat parents - we love supporting animal rescues.
We moved to Kelowna and spent five years there before deciding to move back to Alberta so we could be close to our families as they entered retirement.
I’m an avid gamer. Starfield is my all-time favourite video game - that’s a hill I will die on, regardless of how much hate it got at launch.
I’ve seen way too many movies and still watch a lot on VHS on my CRT TV in our home’s basement (nerd alert). “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood” is the greatest movie ever made.
I also have four guitars that I really should take out, dust off, and play again sometime soon.
06 / Off the clock
LIVE MUSIC, GAMING, AND HOCKEY, MOSTLY
I have lost count of the concerts I've been to. I will drive (or fly) for a good one. I'm an Oilers fan, obviously, and I have sat in the Saddledome (in Flames territory) more than once, which I consider a character-building exercise. 😂
What I do not shoot: weddings, family portraits and passport photos. Headshots, business portraits, and marketing assets only, so the hour you book is the thing I practise every week.
